Northstar has two paint facilities to meet our customers needs. We provide paint and powder coating solutions for all projects no matter the shape or size.

Facility 1

Powder Coating

• HDLV (high-density powder, low-velocity)
• Five fluidized hoppers
• 10’x10’x12’ powder booth
• 8’x8’x20’ curing oven (wet or powder)
• Polyester, epoxy, and hybrid

Wet Spray

• HVLP, airless, and compliant processes
• 24’ x 16’x 13’ wet spray booth with 2 ton hoist
• Coating Types: Epoxy, Polyurethane, Polysiloxane and Zinc (Inorganic/Organic)

Facility 2

Wet spray

• HVLP, airless, and compliant processes
• 60’ x 25’ x 14’ wet spray booth
• Coating Types: Epoxy, Polyurethane, Polysiloxane and Zinc (Inorganic/Organic)

Inspection

• Adhesion Tape Test (ASTM D3359)
• Portable Pull Off Adhesion Test (ASTM D4541)
• Dry Film Thickness (DFT)
